| Once ideas are prioritized, Tech Center professionals analyze products at their most basic component level and evaluate each facetfor cost, performance and reliability. | Adhesives formulation, compounding processes, and testing methods result in the proper material for a given application. Similar work done in plastics and coatings development are used for corrosion resistance and aesthetic purposes. | Research at the ITW Technology Center does not center on equipment and expertise for the sake of research. Research creates solutions to customer needs. | The ITW Technology Center teamedwith ITW Hi-Cone to develop new advanced loading system for bottled packaging lines. This unique system provides an uninterrupted supply of carriers to the operation, increasing productivity for Hi-Cone Customers. |
